May 3, 2008 - Added Mulford Gardens, Yonkers' largest and Westchester's oldest public housing complex, now vacant and soon to be demolished.

March 7, 2008 - Added a link to Yaz Country, a new site for my non-ruins photography. Updated the New York Trap Rock / Marlboro page.

January 30, 2008
- The Preservation League of New York State named the Yonkers Power Station to its annual list of Seven to Save Most Endangered Properties list. The full press release can be read here.

December 28, 2007
- Added the Staples brickyard in Malden.

November 27, 2007 -
Added the abandoned Steel Mill and Van Cortlandt Park.

November 13, 2007 -
Minor updates at the Suburban Countryside Community page (added recent photos), Wyndclyffe (a couple recent pix added), Brewster (Croton Magnetic) Mines (info update - site destroyed). Also, some night photos of the Halsey Teahouse in Irvington.

- Added General Electric, Hudson Falls. This is the first of forthcoming updates for the "Northway" region, beyond the traditionally accepted boundary of the Hudson Valley.

- Several of my photographs of the Yonkers Power Station are included in an exhibit at the Yonkers Public Library - Riverfront Branch. "Yonkers: Then and Now," presented by Blue Door Art Gallery and The Yonkers Historical Society opened  November 20, 2005 and runs until January 8, 2006. The exhibit is open regular library hours: Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 8 PM; Friday 10 AM to 5 PM; Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM; and Sunday 12 Noon to 5 PM. The Library is located at One Larkin Center, across from the Yonkers Metro North Railroad Station. For further information, call (914) 337-1500.
