Notes: Oxygen: extended jam version, thanks to Dave having amp problems. Opening for Bob Mould. A few comments Dave made were :  "Its a bit Chili out here. *no crowd response* Uh that was a joke."  Referencing the fact that the festival was the Long Beach Chili Cookoff/   "Its great to be opening for Bob Mould again after all these years" Crowd was tiny, like 500 people MAX.  Afterwords bob mould played his set and called SA the "best of the bunch from way back then" and that they were "Really f**king good." Afterwards declaring himself "the best solo artist of the bunch"

Notes: Another excellent show, which began with little fireworks and smoke bombs during the introduction...Danny apparently won the huge stuffed lion while playing some mad  wayne's world game with a machine gun... Dave and Dan kicked it around on stage and at one point Dave was riding it. Before the encore Dan tossed the lion into the crowd and everyone went ape shit...  pushing, shoving, threats, beer all over the place and about ten different hands on the stuffed beast which was eventually taken away by security- thank god

Notes: Dave was not as vocal in between songs as he usually is. He really
did not crack any jokes, like we're used to. The Drummer is really great, but he missed a few cues in at  least 3 of the songs (Dan was at the kit at one point guiding him).  The only "new" song was Oxygen and the encore was a brief 2 songs Blue Suede Shoes (which was begrudgingly dedicated to Elvis) and Gone Till November. - guitarjunkie9
