"Its great to be opening for Bob Mould again after all these years" Crowd

gun... Dave and Dan kicked it around on stage and at one point Dave was
riding it. Before the encore Dan tossed the lion into the crowd and everyone
went ape shit... pushing, shoving, threats, beer all over the place
and about ten different hands on the stuffed beast which was eventually
taken away by security- thank god

Notes: Rained out?
August 17, 2002 - Chicago, IL Goose Island Brewery Festival
Notes: Dave was not as vocal in between songs as he usually
is. He really
did not crack any jokes, like we're used to. The Drummer is really
great, but he missed a few cues in at least 3 of the songs (Dan was
at the kit at one point guiding him). The only "new" song was Oxygen
and the encore was a brief 2 songs Blue Suede Shoes (which was begrudgingly
dedicated to Elvis) and Gone Till November. - guitarjunkie9
